Picture perfect coastal destination, with a family friendly course, combined with Kingy’s laid back atmosphere….it’s easy to see why the Kingy Tri is one of Australia’s favourite multi-sport events!
Sunday 29 May 2022
Along with an Olympic Distance event, you have the option to enter the Sprint, Tempta, Pinky, Aquabike, Kids or Teams race.
Regarded by many as one of the friendliest triathlons on the East coast, enjoy a tide-assisted creek swim , a lapped cycle course along the Tweed River, then top it all off with a run along the Cudgen Creek foreshore!
The Kingy Tri actively encourages participation from all backgrounds, and is happy to accommodate those with additional needs or access requirements. Whether you are a seasoned para-athlete or a parent looking for a fun and safe activity for your child, please get in touch with our friendly team.
Please note this event will be run following the NSW Health and NSW Government COVID guidelines regarding social distancing and vaccination status.

LOCAL CAUSES
The Kingscliff Triathlon is proudly run as a not-for-profit event by NXsports.
Each year local community organisations volunteer their time to assist with the event in exchange for a community grant, valued up to $1100. Previous groups have included the Kingscliff Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Banora Tweed, Murwillumbah Scouts, Pottsville and District Men’s Shed, Tweed Junior Raiders Rugby League, Currumbin Dragon Boaters and Pottsville Youth Service.
This year the event has an expanded program incorporating a Saturday 5km Fun Run.
All proceeds from the 5km Fun Run will donated to local flood victims.
Alongside local community groups, NXsports actively seeks out local and youth workers when planning for our events. You can learn more through the link below.
